...and yet critics won't say games can be art...when I've seen a guy paint w/ using paint enemas...in my college textbook.
In all seriousness, I think the line between art and entertainment is a very blurry one indeed. For years, people didn't consider film to be an artform because of what it was usually used for. If something purposefully evoke an emotional reaction from someone, then it's art...and that's when we get into the shady territory of urinals signed by people and crap-in-a-can in haughty taughty galleries.
So what is art? ...eh.
