You can call yourself a graphic designer but we all know what you really want to be.
I was careful not to call it "Clothing designer". I've made quite a few of my own garments, but they always turn out terrible and they're nothing new anyway, just a tshirt into a jacket or pants into boardshorts. Clothing designer would be cool to call myself, but I don't enjoy that nearly as much as I do logotype and graphic design.
I don't know if it'd be beneath your or not but what about going the webcomic route? Not necessarily a serial comic(although your silent hill stuff would definatly be worth) but something like the perry bible fellowship I would think would be perfect for you and dave. Or a GWBCQ series. I don't think you'ld have problems with finding a following and could even make a tidy sum off advertising and merch.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
That's a good idea. The SH strips were kinda my intro to the world of three-panel strips, but it might be a worthwhile endeavor once I've practiced some more. I have a few ideas, but nothing that I think would sell. If I had more confidence in my work, I'd just re-print the comic I already work on page by page. Too bad I think it sucks.
I'm working on some shirt designs right now, and if they sell I'll be living the dream! :O If not, then I'll be out a little cash and have a lot of shirts with dancing Mario 2 enemies on them.
My dream job would be working at the local game retail store. Wait a second....that's my job right now. So, everyday I get to live the dream!
Other dream job would be a cartoonist. My drawings have always looked bad (nothing close to Silly Hill), but the content was always good. Plus, you don't really need to draw well to be a cartoonist. Or so I think.
My dream job would be screenwriter/director. With a few TV series, a couple movies, and a novel or two maybe. Oh and it would be cool to be able to write that one comic book series idea I had.
As far as actual reality, I'll try to get a job in web design or something. I guess.
My dream job is to be a well respected actress. Starting off in theatre, then eventually movies. The ultimate level would be Julia Roberts' Erin Brockovich days
I just want to be a character actor. I want to wake up in the morning with a call from Sam Raimi or Joel Coen, telling me they need someone to play a nerdy creep in their movies and that I'm just the man for the job. Essentially, I want people to watch me acting like I normally do and I want to get paid for it.
An astronomer who specializes in either stellar evolution, planetary science, or active galactic nuclei. Haven't decided yet what field I really like most.
president of capcom entertainment! id relocate my office to hawaii and be a ganja farmer part-time. id revitalize capcom to become equal to a sega and release the first capcom home console, throwing sony's playstation into extinction and collector's closets. microsoft would fall behind, and it would be like this: 1. Nintendo, 2. Capcom, 3. Microsoft.
