Getting in my two cents, I want to say that while laptops are more abundant on the college scene than ever before, I still cannot adapt to these contractions. When I type on a laptop's keyboard, it feels "unnatural" than when I type on one affiliated with the desktop. I really don't mind carrying the stuff needed to hook up the desktop computer either (monitor, CPU, etc.). Oh, and I do apologize for those using laptops, but I loathe the touch-mouse application. It makes my surfing the net much slower for me. So, Pavvies, I must ask: what is your preference and why?

And sometimes a separate keyboard, although that's not as necessary.
