Skye posted 2GB I believe. Here's a 20, which on the site you can only get refurbished:

Works quite like an iPod, except you get up down scrolling, and forward and back buttons, plus the FM and built in microphones.

It's compatible with like, 90% of iPod holders too.

As far as the small one goes, the only problem I've had with it is the little hold button. It's gotten a bit loose, but it hurts nothing, because it does still click into play on Hold as it's supposed to. Other than that, the buttons are easy to hit, the FM quality is great (and holds 20 presets), allows easy folder browsing, and deletion of files (while paused or stopped). It also includes a sleep timer you can set (convenient for when I go to sleep with it on) and a build in equilizer.

I find most MP3 players look cheap and plasticy (sp?), but that iRiver looks nice, has some nice features to. The whole "iRiver" thing seems very derivative of Apple's iPod. Sometimes I wish other companies would come up with their own ideas rather than steal Apple's, I mean, look how many MP3's utilize some sort of scrolling technique or "wheel" similar to the iPod.

This thing actually put up a good fight against iPod for a while. My friend and I theorized that iPod payed Best Buy to stop stocking them.

Apple can't beat anybody... so they have to cheat.

I'm thinking about either getting some storage for my DS or storage for my phone so I can have MP3's. They both cost about the same, but the DS option opens up other things like web browsing.
                    ...and that's why.

Ha, fat chance. What warranty lasts longer than a year? I've had this thing much longer than that.
Whenever you buy electronics that are more than 100 dollars. Whenever you do that. Without exception.

                      Get the ****ing extended warranty.

                            Re: Apple iPod? APPLE ASSPOD.

I was sheltered as a child in a small town where gizmos weren't the rage with most people. I got my first discman for Christmas in 1999, and didn;t get my first MP3 Player until June 2005 (I grew up without a computer). I chose this one....

Since I grew up with radio (And at the time, didn't have a music burning program) I loved it's FM feature, and living in Toronto was like having 7 DJs at my fingertips.

Then, Karr came into my life and got me LimeWire, he got himself an IPod. At first, he thought it was awesome. I hated it from the get go. My tiny lil 7 year old hands couldn't hold it properly.I still kept this lil aerodynamic Lyra player, but when we were on vacation in BC, it celebrated its first birthday by freezing mid song with an annoying tone. So, Karr upgraded me to this one for my birthday....

I bloody well love this thing. 2 weeks after I got it, I was walking with Karr, and not only did I drop it, but I kicked it on the way down, so it flew and bounced down the road. Being covered in a rubber skin, it was perfectly fine. Still is today. I had to replace the earphones it came with (Ears too small, like hands, for "buds") and it measures my heart rate. Original was $86, this new one was $180 for double the storage space.

So yeah, I despise IPods because....

                            - Earbuds don't fit me
                            - EVERYONE has them and yes, it annoys me too
                            - Karr purchased the extra warranty through Future Shop, they jerked him around and took a solid month to fix it, and it still sucks
                            - I don't like the idea of a battery being built INTO a unit. My player has been on the same AA battery for 3 weeks, and if it dies, I can buy one on the go easily.
                            - Dropping it is a deathwish, yet I can dropkick mine.
                            - It;s overpriced because it is a fad.

The only thing I LIKE about the IPod are its commercials. Damn catchy commercials.

The closest thing to an mp3 player I have is a GBA Movie Player. It's cheap and it gets the job done.

iRiver. Thank the heavens someone else has seen the ligt.

I'm still using my Zen Microphoto, because I paid $200 for it and I intend to use it until it breaks. I only bought it because it was cheaper and smaller than most everything Best Buy had that was larger storage capcity than 4GB. And they stopped stocking iRiver and I needed one that day because I was going on vacation the next.

                                But long live iRiver.

Also, if Sansa players had a large capacity, I would endorse them, too.
