    Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

Soooo, I was lucky and got to rent this, and...I dunno. It's not exactly what I thought it was going to be. The cutscenes are done in "metal gear comic" fashion and all the dialogue is between missions. The storyline so far is pretty nice, and has that metal gear touch, but I dunno...maybe it's just the way it's presented makes it feel less impactful. I feel like I'd get the same effect if I just read it.

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is great, and it's the metal gear gameplay you've come to know and love...but what was already mentioned is pretty important to maybe. Maybe I'm being too quick to judge...maybe not.

So yeah, I'm returning this and I'm going to sell my PSP for $120 if anyone's interested, first come, first serve, PM me...comes with the Best Buy replacement plan if anything goes wrong with it. As you know, I'm hurtin' for cash, and DS has saturated the market to the point that I can live without having a PSP (game selection is better, etc).

I was going to sorta post about this. Specifically, I was planning on getting MGS3: Subsistence (don't ask why I haven't already, no real reason) and I was wondering if people still played it online. I decided to check GameFAQs first and it sounded like a lot of people jumped ship for PO.

Also, I am so dang tempted to buy that PSP from you. Except I'm trying to curb my game spending, and I don't really want a PSP. Still, I'm having to force myself not to PM you.

As much as I'd like to ditch the PSP since it is the inferior hardware (due to fragility), the games keep pulling me back in. I wanna get back to Contact but I keep losing interest out of boredom, and I can't find anyone to play Downhill Jam or Clubhouse Games with.

Yeah yeah. I still think the PSP is great, but I'm trying to scrounge up money and there's enough cheap alternatives on DS that'll tithe me over for my portable needs (FF V and III, Elite Beat for now). I'm gonna really miss Lumines & Tekken, but I'll live.

Oddly enough, I still havent gotten tired of Megaman Powered Up. The stage editor is awesome neough to keep my PSP dust-free.

I hate waiting for portable ops though, I cant get it until next month. ARG. but then I'll have a nice and shiny NEW PSP to play it on, yes...

Speaking of, I just decided I need to get EBA. I wasn't really interested before. I played the demo at Best Buy one time and had no idea what was going on so it soured me to the whole idea. But I went to the site yesterday and fell in love. Seems like insane fun and now I know the gameplay is really simple. Problem is I already have a list of DS games I want to get. So many games, so little time and even less money.

Cause he returned it and is selling his PSP thusly he cannot enjoy the incredible storyline.

                        I'm just guessing.

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

The Surgeon General just came out with the statement that everyone that's beaten MGS: Portable Ops will live an extra ten years. I'm sorry, Kire.
