Whenever I'm on this piece-of-crap computer, every 5 minutes it closes my internet browser for no reason!

Yeah, it sounds like a virus or spyware. So go get AdAware, Spybot S&D, and goto trendmicro's site and look for house call and run it. Or get AVG.

FIREFOX SHOULD BURN.
Anyway, I found the problem. I have a virus/spyware scanner I bothered to look at. Ad-aware is good, but it freezes if it encounters a dangerous virus. This one didn't freeze at all, and overall was a lot more efficiant.

You might want to make sure none of those viruses it found have to be deleted manually. If it couldn't clean it and just quarantined the files, there is a chance you might have to look them up in a virus database to figure out how to manually delete them.Comment
