    RPG Learner Drawings Part 2

Well it's been a long time since i last posted any artwork.

So here's sme progress. By using a art tutorial off one of RMXP enzines.
I got some fair results off it.

Also i posted this at RMXP.org and so far got some negative comments about it. but also some helpful advice.

Don't listen to anyone in that RMXP.org topic. Terrible advice.

If you want to get better keep drawing. The more you draw the better you will be.

But if you want some specific tips on these drawings:
Draw from life to understand proportion. Again, the more you do it the better it will be.
Those pictures are very big. Resize you're pictures to make them more atractive.
Draw hair as a solid shape like you did for the hair on their heads. Do the same for the mustache and it will look better.
Don't worry about establishing a "style." The more you draw the more you'll find you're drawing things in a paticular way. That's all style is. If you try to create a style now you'll ignore basic line/shape/proportion choices. Also you'll end up defining mistakes as "style" and you won't learn. Ignore style and just draw and you'll end up with a style naturaly.

Yeah, even the people who try to help are offering terrible advice though.

Like that one guy who said that men perfer to draw characters with short square bodies while the ladies draw thin bodies with large heads.

        WHAT?!

Loki is very right. There are a few things wrong, but if you keep drawing, you'll get better. Which reminds me, I need to start drawing again.

I have to say noticing the boards at rmxp.org that it seems perople tend to fav talented artists then newbies like me.

Sadly it makes me think why the advice there is horrible.

You're saying that it's weird that people look at the artwork of talented artists? Or am I not reading that correctly?

If Loki was a monkey, he'd be a helper monkey.

Edit: Oh, or else maybe a Monkey King.

all of their eyes look crossed! I'd suggest moving their facial features up a little bit, they all have really big craniums. I like the one of the guy in profile though.

The Learner's got quite a unique style! Don't be discouraged by what some people think of your art. Everybody's got an opinion. But my opinion is that you're a talented artist.

You should delve into Photoshop or Illustrator to really bring your drawings to a new level.
Despite what you think, I am very, very real.
