Shirley Walker has died.

November 30, 2006: Shirley Walker passed away today from a brain aneurism she suffered last night. She was 61. Shirley was an amazing talent and an amazing person. She will be missed. Please think of Shirley's family and wish them well in this difficult time.

Walker's film & TV workin included the "Batman Animated Series," "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm," "M.A.N.T.I.S," "Escape From L.A.," "Batman Beyond", "New Batman/Superman Adventures", "Mystery Men" and the "Final Destination" films.

Her score for the Batman cartoons is astounding. Sad to see her go. =( Perhaps now they can finally release the soundtrack so more people can discover it.
