Well I found a flash drive, (Im looking at it right now) Seems somone just left it here with all thier schoolwork. I am too nice of guy to keep it though and am most likely going to hand it over to public safety.
I personally have the option of just getting people to e-mail school-wide for the poor person that lost it, but most likely if it was just on the street, I just wouldn't pick it up and leave it to somone else to find. I'm just too nice/lazy though.
If you ever found somthing that belonged to somone (an item most likely, not money) what would you do in that situation?

Just a month or so ago, I pulled up to a drive thru bank machine. A car had just drove off. I pull up and the machine asks me how much I wish to withdraw. They had left there card in and everything. I only had to select an amount and I could have their money! Free money!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to, so I selected no withdraw and got their card out and, after taking out some money from my account, parked and gave the card to one of the bank tellers inside.
I still regret these actions.
Oh, sorry, you said no money. I just saw that part.
I found a Family Guy pin and took it, but nothing else.

I found some womans purse. It had about $400 in it, and a urine sample. I got the address and took it to her house, I left it in sticking out of her mail box.

Must've been a druggie. No one would leave pee in their purse unless it was in someone else's purse.

She could have been pregnant. This was 1999, so it was awhile ago . But I got the impression she was pregnant, I found the purse close to the hospital, me and my friend rode our bikes to her house she lived close to where we would play MTG.

I found a guy's wallet in a parking lot once, with a ton of credit cards and money inside.
I couldn't find the guy, so I just had the grocery store who's parking lot I found the wallet in, keep it incase he came back.

Found a wallet with about $120 in it at the bike rack of my Junior High school.
I took it to the front office and recieved a "$1 off at the spirit store" coupon. :| I found that offensive for some reason, nothing would've made a better reward.
You could have gotten like, 4 pencils.

you guys have some good morals.
We get flash drives turned in all the time at the computer labs where I work. If I'm feeling particularly motivated I'll check out what's on it to see if I can find a name and email them.
That's what I'd suggest you do Draygone. It sucks if you lose an assignment. And that's why I just email stuff to myself. Don't need a flashdrive, just check my email and bam it's there.
Coincidentally, I've seen lots of stuff get stolen or whatnot from people using the labs, from missing disks and flash drives to binders, books and purses. There's even stuff where I know it was people I work with.
But then I tossed Carol Keeton Strayhorn's purse in the trash so I can't really talk. Although I just say I was being politically active.
Also when I worked at a grocery store I found a purse with $500 bucks in it. I kept it. Kinda feel bad looking back at it.
But then I did save an old guy from freezing to death so it evens out.

Good you didnt act on that temptation, the little security camera in the atm machine would have caught a nice picture of you stealing money from someone elses account:lol
Someone walked away from a mcdonalds counter and forgot a burger....I kindly reminded him he forgot:| I regret those actions also...I was hungry that day
