Kefka I want to give you rep but I'm to much of a moron to figure out how.

Since Loki's not here Czechs is right so he should ask the next question.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Yeah they have. It's thirty-five seconds. Unless you're going for some kind of trick question thing like after thirty seconds a five second counter comes up and then you die.

Oops. I miscounted. Smurvis is right. 30 seconds.

Yeah. I thought it was that.

In this game, Sonic cannot breathe in water. Once you enter any
pool of water, you have to thirty seconds to get out before a 5-second
countdown appears. If the countdown reaches zero, then you drown and lose a
life. It's as simple as that. However, to make your life easier, there are also
these "air bubbles" in the water to prevent you from drowning. To inhale an air
bubble, just touch it, and you'll hear a strange noise indicating that you've
inhaled the bubble, and delayed the countdown for another thirty seconds.
Of course maybe my source is wrong.

It should be 30 seconds with the counter. 18 seconds of normal music, with chimes at 5, 10, and 15 seconds. Then 12 seconds with the counter before you die.

But now you guys have shaken my confidence in this matter.

Well, it's very possible IRC and I both had no clue what the answer was and both pretended like we knew after looking at the same article on GameFAQs.
