    What do you want or plan to give for Christmas?

    I only have one BIG gift planned out. My roommate has a horrible family and he NEVER got anything he wanted for Christmas in his entire life. He likes Gears of War and some other 360 games but doesn't have one. Me, four of my friends, and my girlfriend are all pitching in to get hin a 360, second controller, Gears of War, Dead Rising, and probably Saints Row as a big bundle for Christmas. They've all pretty much said the same thing, he's a great guy and gets the crap end of the stick a lot and we'd just like to see him happy.

    (BTW... for those of you who play PSU, my roommate getting this present is KingKillah, so don't mention it to him cause he's not one of the ones helping, but the one getting it. If he hears about this in game, I will spend all my money on a series of plane tickets instead of the 360 to come bludgeon each and every one of you in the face with a frozen ham.)


    Personally, I've been lucky with my new job and I kinda already bought my Christmas present for myself (Nintendo Wii) but what stuff do you guys want? What are you guys planning to give?

    That's awfully nice of you! I treated myself to a 360 yesterday so the rest of my money is going towards gifts. I don't have much big things planned or really know what to get my loved ones or anything.

    Honestly, I just want to avoid yet another christmas that's just a bunch of dvd box sets sitting under the tree.

      I'm only getting my niece and nephew stuff for christmas. I know no one is getting me anything, so I just avoid thinking about what I want.

        I want to get Dave a really nice electric razor, and some other gifts. If anyone has suggestions as to a good brand or type, I'd love to hear your opinions. He has one of the worst beards and normal razors are tough on his skin.

          I still gotta figure this stuff out. I drew stuff for a bunch of people last year, and I think I improved a lot since then, so maybe I'll do that again.

          As well as, y'know. DVDs. Or something.

            I've always used a non-electric, but my dad swears by Norelco.


            I got my girlfriend Nintendo Wii with Super Monkey Ball. I don't know what to get anyone else based on my budget. Disperse my bills?

              I'd like to buy a set of brand new pots and pans for my Mom for Christmas. The ones we have now are older than I am and a few of the handles came off of the lids, so you have to lift them off of the pots by sticking a fork under them. They're also a really ugly yellow color.

              My aunt is going to go with me to help me pick out some really nice ones.

                For the last five or so years, I've received almost nothing but Best Buy, Casual Male Big & Tall, GameStop, and Wal*Mart gift cards.

                I already gave my brother his christmas present, which was a combination of PSX and PS2 games and accessories to outfit his new PS2 (he's not a gamer by any standards, so he just now got a PS2). I'll be buying presents for my immediate family, and no gift cards because it's so lazy.

                Then I do this thing every year where I get together some envelopes (it'll be nine this year), add random amounts of cash and lottery scratchers, and then play a game where six people get to choose an envelope. It's been a big hit the last few years, and I keep coming up with new ways to do it, so this year'll be no different. I might throw in some PowerBall tickets for the hell of it.

                As for myself, I've already got a Wii coming, so I'll probably ask for a couple of games, which will be the first time in two years I've gotten video game related merch for Christmas. I'm also looking to get an alarm system installed on my truck and I think my dad will oblige happily on that if I hint at it.

                  I don't care what they give me cause I'm gonna just get what I want myself. I could ask for a 360 or a Wii but my parents are poor so they're not going to do that. My sister will end up getting me some stupid movie that I "mistakenly" leave at home for her. Last two years were Big Momma's House and White Chicks. I worry about her sometimes.

                  It's just that now, if I want something like a game or movie or something I just buy it myself. Why wait? Like I told my parents to get me Bully for my birthday(it was in October if you didn't notice) but I didn't go back home to get it until this past week so now I don't even want to play it what with FFXII and FFV out.

                  As far as giving gifts my family is lame and basically gives out lists of what they want. Mom, something for the kitchen, Stepdad golfballs, and for my sister I just take her to Best Buy and let her pick out one or two items. Last year it was Blue Collar Comedy Tour. This year I think she's gonna want the Larry the Cable Guy movie.

                        I can't afford to get anyone anything. It really sucks.

                        However, I know that I will be getting stuff from my friends and family, even though I never do the same. It's depressing.

                          BTW Nixon, I have a Norelco Cool Skin that sucks if I have more than a days growth. The shaving attachment to my old beard trimmer worked better.
