    Question on Names?

I'm looking to start a T shirt design company and am wondering if anyone knows any ways to find out if and what names are copyrighted.

any help would be very appreciated.

There's a website out there that tells you what names have been officially copyrighted when you're doing searches, but I'm not sure what it's called. Do a search for 'copyright database' and see what happens.

What is the process of the shirt-making?

What makes yout "T-Shirt" company better than the other countless T-Shirt companies?

        Demographic?

My advice is to just plan all processes, and expiriment with everything. Everyone I know thinks you can just print off pictures on your inkjet and have an "awesome shirt".

I mean actually buying a press or what have you.

Ill probably make a few through a local t shirt printer and see how much people like them.

as far as demographic goes I'm not sure, probably 13-25 or so.

The designs I have now are pretty rough.

Im thinking of Calling it either

            "Sinister X"

            or "Noxic Designs"

I would like to make shirts that you might see characters in video games or anime wear.

I think sinister x is a little too cliche and sounding like something you might find in hot topic.

Make a shirt that says I'm With Stupid and an arrow pointing up.

                Those are awesome.

Post some designs on here, before you actually throw out the shirt, I'd like to see.

You mean that you want to be a t-shirt designer, not a t-shirt logo designer? From the way you said you want to make shirts that video game or anime characters wear, what do you mean? You mean actual shirt designs, non-exclusive to t-shirts, or logo designs?

Do you mean a t-shirt merchandiser? Because it's not designing when you take already established characters and put them on shirts.

And sinister x is pretty lame-wad. How about "John Mora's Homestyle Shirt Press"?

No i dont want to take already established characters. Just designs that when You look at it youd go , THATS WHAT A GAME CHARCTER WOULD WEAR.

                            or something.

So... instead of cool things from our universe, you want cool things that made-up characters would wear. That's... weird. In a good way. Hard to market, but cool.

I don't know. I have no clue how to approach this.
