ART CONTEST (Blatant need for art)

Ok, so here's what's up. In 2 months I will begin working on a game with five other people for five months for my final project here at school. My group wants to get a design document turned out by then and we have to pitch our idea to a committee to get it approved. We need awesome concept art.

The game is something to the effect of Lil' Ninja. I don't know the real title, but that's what I'm tentatively calling it anyways. It is about a ninja in training who will quest for his ninja gear to earn new abilities in a world ripe for platforming. Although I really dislike 3D platformers, looks like I'm going to have to bear it. Now, the ninja is going to be stylized. We're not going for realism here, we're going for more of a FUN looking ninja. But what does a fun, stylish ninja look like?

Ok, so I really have no clue about what everyone else is thinking as I'm away on vacation, but for a world, I'm thinking it's Mario 64 meets Japan. The ninja learns to do really cool tricks such as flipping off walls, running on water and such.

That's where artists come in. We have absolutely no idea and no clue about the ninja. So here's the contest rules.

    1. Draw a ninja.
    B. All ninjas must be submitted by Christmas. (Yes, ninjas, multiple submissions allowed) <-- Note: Christmas = December 25th, 2006.
    3. The Ninja which my group likes best wins.

"What will you win?" You might ask. Well, besides having your name in the credits at a 200 - 300 person audience, you will get a fabulous $25.00 as well as a very AWESOME and very MYSTERY package. 2 items in this package have already been determined and as we think of sweet or random things to add, it grows. What else could be in there? Only the winner will behold.

So to recap. Best / coolest / whatever-the-group-members-think-they-like ninja wins respect, a SMALL cash compensation and a mystery prize. Anyone who enters gets rep. I'm desperate.

Edit: Sorry if it's not much, but really, that's about what we know. Since it's a big gray blob right now, anything thrown at us will sway our decisions.

Edittacular: The votes went as follows.

    Loki - 4
    Bio - 3

It was very torn between our group. Loki, please PM me and give me your address so I can get your prize to you. I will reveal the mystery prize contents to everyone after you get the package.

Also, Bio, please give me your address. I have a prize for you since our voting was extremely close.

A few details added! FEW. We really just came up with the idea the other day, but the only thing we really know is that the ninja is NOT super serious bad-ass ala Metal Gear or Tenchu. They don't have to be stubby to be cute, and heck, they don't have to be too cute. I was thinking anywhere from a teen ninja to an younger adult. Maybe having some really goofy hair, as he may have to earn his ninja veil. But it's all up do how you want to make him look "cool" or "stylish", really.

Well my ninja is simple and fun looking. Imagine you gain him different stances. Each stance having different abilities. For example mine could be monkey stance allowing him to swing from things. There could be grasshopper/toad stance that would allow him to jump really high. Have it so you can switch stances at any time but need to know the proper stance to get through certain areas. Each having their own, jump height, speed, special ability, etc...

Vibrant absurd graphics are all the rage in addicting games now-a-days.

I've drawn seven or so ninjas now and I hate all of them.

Why'd you guys have to pick ninjas?
