I've been hearing reports of there being stickers on Classic Controllers mentioning this. 75 dollars worth of virtual console downloads with a 20 dollar controller?

maybe it is 750, not 7500?

I'd heard that actually buying the Wii Points was gonna just be an option people used as that didn't want to wait. I'd heard things like getting Wii Points with games/accessories and a possible achievement thing in games to sorta "hand out" the games, or try to get people to buy them since they came with the points at no charge.
Until now, I hadn't heard about anything that showed that as being true... but controllers coming with 7500 points? Sounds like it might be.Keep the change.Comment

Well, one of the first things I was asked when setting up my Wii was to link it to my "My Nintendo" account so, there must be a reason for that. I have like 50 things registered and no free points yet though.Comment
