    Really Stupid Wii Question I have to ask.

    I have no money to buy a PS3 or Wii right now, and probably not for a while, however I think the virtual console controller looks wicked awesome, and I want it. So it's USB, I'm assuming, right? If so is there a way I can use it on my PC or make it work on my PC by some means? I know its a silly question but all the gamepads I see for sale for PC all suck, the one I have is horrible and I have six others that are just as bad or worse.

    don't know about that, but I do know the 360 controller works w/ the PC flawlessly....

      Nope. it plugs into the remote via a custom connector. not USB.

        Damn!

        I guess I'll have to rethink my idea for getting a better PC controller. I swear every store I go into has the lamest excuse for controllers. I miss the old Thrustmasters but they only sell the new one, which I have, and I don't like.

            Is the X360 controller good with Fighters? Does it require software to work or does it just work like most of the dedicated PC controllers that are out? I may get one but I just want to make sure it is good for RPG's, and 2D+3D fighters.

              It should be just fine if you liked the PS2 controller and all that. Make sure that what you're buying will work on the PC, though.

                Aren't they all, though? If the X360 controller requires software, I can't do it because I do not run Windows.

                    If you look online, you can easily find many different kinds of PlayStation USB controller adapters. I have a 4 player one. It kicks ass but, it doesn't have rumble. I can't believe you're not using one and going through so many crappy PC pads looking for something like the PS one. You do have PS controllers, right?

                      It doesn't look all that comfortable to me.

                            There are drivers you can get to use the Wired 360 controller with Linux.
