    What kind of lego robot should I build?!

    Ive had this Lego Armored Core guy around for like nearly 3 years now, and I keep updating it with new stuff from new lego sets I pickup here and there. I can make the top half look good, but its too damn big for any kind of legs I can build with bending posable joints. I mean Ive made a pair that could hold it up, but they looked terrible.

    So I want a fresh start. Im going to cannabalize my old buddy for all his parts, to make something new, but I dont know what to make, or what style of robot to do. Should I just do another Armored Core? Chrome Hound? Etc. Ive got enough parts to make about anything. I just dont know what.

    Gimme some suggestions!

    BTW, I ****ing love the head. That might be the only part I dont take apart.

    EVA.... maybe? Don't know if you could do that with legos, though.

      Here is a lego robot I built. Clearly I didn't have enough of a single color to make a decent looking one.

        Give him quad legs.

        Or make a heavyweight type with tank legs and big guns. That's always cool.

        Edit: Are the parts interchangeable? You could consider making a whole bunch of different parts and weapons to play around with.

          Make my AC. That is, give him tank legs, a Kurosawa, the Moonlight, and a giant cannon on his back.

          EDIT: Oh, by the way, that upper-half of an AC is awesome.

            This is what I came up with so far. Still gotta work on the weapons and legs. The premise of it is say a civilization never developed flight technology past spinning rotors, and propellers. So when large mecha where made, they strapped large fans on the back, and put wheels on the feet to travel at high speeds, and quickly spin and maneuver around, instead of giant rocket engines.

              Dude, that AC is so freakin cool. Got so many ideas. I didn't think an AC was possible to make so real out of legos. (Did that make sense?)

              I've gotta get out the LDD thing I downloaded.

              And just for the heck of showing off lego creations, (Draygone, you're gonna like this)...

                You should build a lego robot girlfriend.
                The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                      Haha, Ive alwasy messed around with rigging up small electric motors with controls. Never anything bigger than a shoebox though. If any sort of competition where to ever start up here with homemade robot fights, Id be in on it.
