Ok, I admit that I was a little harsh on Wii bowling and that it is pretty cool. The reason I might complain a little is because I am a pretty good bowler, and I was hoping that aiming left or right would make it go left or right. The swing seems to only dictate speed and spin, and the AIM is dictated by the arrow.
Now, I finally realized they made it this way for non-bowlers, otherwise there'd be a lot more gutterballs (Madden's kicking proved to me that the AIM function is possible, just left out). I wish you could put on a pro mode er something so that it would take your aim into consideration, because in real bowling, my hand flails out left as I spin it right.
Taking out the aiming was probably a great design move on Nintendo's part because now I can bowl w/ people who aren't so good at bowling. It'd be nice to have the option though.
I've already mentioned the physics are terrible, but I kind of expected that. It is Nintendo after all. Maybe someone will come out w/ a full fledged bowling game.
Just so you guys know, I'm definitely in the Wii60 camp now, as I could never give up the great sound, graphics, and online stuff that the 360 offers. Wii isn't the savior of gaming, but it's definitely a nice addition to what we consider to be the state of games today.
