    Desert Island Discs

Okay, the point here is to post your list of five (or ten, if you are more ambitious or can't decide) music CDs, five DVDs, and five video games you would take with you if you were stranded on a desert isle. Of course, this is presupposing that you have the requisite player or console with you in order to play them. I'll start.

    In no particular order:

    CDs
    Low-Long Division
    Mazzy Star-Among My Swan
    Stereolab-Peng
The Velvet Underground-The Velvet Underground and Nico
    Joy Division-Substance
    Nick Drake-Way to Blue
    Labradford-Prazision
Aphex Twin-Selected Ambient Works, Vol II
    Flying Saucer Attack-Distance
    Tricky-Maxinquaye

Note:I cheated a bit with Joy Division and Nick Drake since their albums listed are both "best of"s.

    DVDs
    Safe
    Heavenly Creatures
    Repulsion
    Boogie Nights
    Star Wars: A New Hope
    American Beauty
    Series 7: The Contenders
    Fritz Lang's Metropolis
    Perfect Blue
    Waking Life

    Video Games
    Morrowind
    Phantasy Star Online
    Ogre Battle 64
    Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
    RPG Maker 3
    Mario Kart DS
    Starcraft 64
The SNES version of Civilization II
    Skies of Arcadia
    WarioWare (the GBA one)

Note:I only listed console games that I've owned at one point in time in my life, not computer titles, hence Starcraft 64 and SNES Civ II. Also note that most of the games listed either can take 100 or more hours to solve (FFTA, Skies of Arcadia, Morrowind) or are for the most part open ended and can be played almost infinitely (PSO, RPGM 3). Finally, WarioWare and Mario Kart are not necessarily in my top ten favorite games, but are thrown in to add some variety to a strat/rpg/strat-rpg heavy list.

Now it's time for you to submit your lists!
