    Are you tonedeaf?

    It'd be nice to know.

Listen to two sound clips. Then compare. Easy.

I got 83.3% correct, which surprised me. I just wanted to compare with people here.

Some of those were pretty long and hard to memorize after hearing just once.
Most of them had errors on the end of the tune.

That was not easy. This is why I play drums.

          Edit:
83.3% accuracy when the tones were the same.
66.6% accuracy when the tones were different.

MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS PLAYING TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!! ZING!!!

91.7% Correct on my first try.

Some of those compositions were extremely complex, so it was hard to pick out the off note.

Probably why I still can't play things by ear. Plus some of them I wasn't completely paying attention to.

80.6... Things like these, it becomes less about getting it right, and more about second-guessing yourself.

I think it's because for the vast majority of them I wound up choosing "different". I was starting to wonder if the ones I chose as "same" were also supposed to be different. Turns out instead that I was just noticing notes that were there but I didn't notice before. I'm sure if there was a replay option to fiddle with I'd be able to tell for certain. Oh, here we go, it says what ones I was wrong on.

...Well, offhand now I can certainly tell how I was wrong on [insert answer number here]. And I answered "same". Or maybe this is telling me what the answer is, not what the answer I chose was. I dunno, one of these is saying "Different - Incorrect", even though I can hear a difference in the third note from the last. Let's see, if it's telling me what the correct answer is, 10 of them I answered "different" when they were the same.
