      Re: Quick Question:

1 friend knows about this place, but that is all.

I kinda keep online life and real life separate.

          Re: Quick Question:

Not at all. Me and my friends have our hands full enough with teenage drama. We don't need the internet oppressing our teenage souls as well :3

Personally, I don't find it the coolest thing to talk about, so I don't.

              Re: Quick Question:

My friends in class catch me on it every once in a while, but it doesn't really come into real life.

                    Re: Quick Question:

In the last 5 years only three times.

                    1.
                    March 2001
When I got RPG Maker I played it with a friend of mine, and I told him about this place a month after my first time on the message board. He was under the impression at the time, and I'm sure he doesn't think this now, that anyone who talks to anyone they don't know on the internet is a loser with no real friends.

                    2.
                    May 2001
I told my friend about the chat, he checked it out one day, and made me look like an ass by telling a story about how I asked a girl out oblivious to the fact that I used to make fun of her. What he didn't know was, I wasn't oblivious to it, and it was a joke beetween me and her.

                    3.
                    September 2006
A girl told me that she is well known in a number of Tori Amos chatrooms. Then I said: "Yeah, there's this message board I go to all the time." The way I see it, anything that goes on in a Tori Amos chatroom is probably 100 times more messed up than anything that could go on here.

                      Re: Quick Question:

Rarely, if ever. I may try bringing one of my friends here, but he is pretty wierd so I dunno how that will turn out.
I had to change accounts. I'm here now - http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/member.php?u=1475

                        Re: Quick Question:

my ex-girlfriend talked to slowpoke once randomly, because she saw him on my buddy list. she said I was being mean(because I told her to stop pestering him), and then slowpoke said "you should break up." and then we did.

but other than that, I refer to you guys as "the guys on the forum I go to." I do this rarely.

My encounters go like this: "This guy I know has a black albino boyfriend."
"Wow. That's crazy. How do you know this guy?"
                          "...internet."
                          "What part of the internet?!"
                          "The RPGMaker part...

                          ...

                          ..."

                            Re: Quick Question:

Exactly– that's what I'm talking about.

                            My girlfriend asks me,

                            "What are you reading?"

Then I have to explain why I'm laughing at the internet.

"Well, this one guy posted this thread, and then John Mora..."

Nope. I'm ashamed of all of you. Anytime I reference the pavilion it's always a vague, "this guy I know..."
