    No PS3 for me.

    Well I showed up at Best Buy and got in line, but a store rep came out, counted us up to number 32, and said anyone beyond that wasn't going to get one. I was beyond 32. They basically roped off the 32 people to discourage extra people joining the lines, and everywhere else I went (Wal-mart, target, circuit city) had the same policy in affect. They basically came out and said how many units they had, and if you weren't early enough in the line you were told to get lost.

    I'm not disapointed at all. I'm going to go out and buy a Wii sunday, perhaps camp out, and I'll really more excited about that than the PS3. My father was a bit disapointed, but we got over it.

    Anyone else have any luck getting a PS3?

    Nope, I have to sell them.

    Ixzion over at the mag has his preorder ready to go, though.

        Too bad. Well, it's not like it would be that good anyway (It's Sony, after all). I'm just going to skip this generation and wait 'til the year twenty-oh-ten when we all have hovercars and laser guns and PS4s/Nintendo Stupidnames/Xbox 720s.

          Plus, I bet after Christmas, PS3's will be stacked up everywhere. The price will be the same, but they'll be easy to get.

            Nope, too close to Christmas for that to work. They'll still be rare enough that a horde of kids will use Christmas money (combined with their own, unless their parents are loaded) to get PS3's/Wii's.

              I would be disappointed, because each PS3 is going for at least $2000 on ebay right now.

                  The only thing PS3 related to remotely bring a smile to my face was a 65 year old lady camping outside a best buy in San Antonio to surprise her only grandson with it.

                        I work for a living, It's just think it's low to buy a PS3 and then sell it on eBay for a outrageous amount of money.

                          I never accused you of doing it. It was more of a general statement to the members of this forum who were all, "I'M GONNA BUY ONE AND MAKE LOTS OF MONEY LOL SUCKERS"

                              sell for 2k profit, then buy one later when something good actually comes out
