ARGH E.COLI!!! Need info

Yeah, I'm doing this massive research project on E.Coli. I've nearly got all of my information, however, I need some helping finding a source about e.coli's life span and cycles. (So far I know it doubles in 20 minutes to an hour.)

If anyone can point me in the direction of a valid internet source I'll get them a cookie.

I'm on the wiki right now, not helping much. I found something about life cycles but it's only about reproduction.

I just need to know how long it lives.

depending on the subject matter, it can be reliable. The E. Coli page seems vandalism free right now.

Man, have you been to Wikipeda? Everyone take's super seriously! Go check out their forums or editing rule pages. Look at the lists and lists of editing procedures or the long long long debates on edits that are contriversial.

Wikipedia works becuase it's taken so seriously.

2 Elementary kids got exposed to E. Coli here in San Antonio. The school says it's still to safe to eat from the district's cafeterias.

It's actually what they encourage you to do sometimes. You should cite the original source whenever you can.
