    PSO POS contest

This contest is for people that have played the original Phantasy Star Online. So all five of you better listen up.

I have a brand new, sealed, complete set of the color version of the Yujin PSO gashapon, series two. The other version is clear and not as cool, so I didn't bother with it. These come from Japan and have been out of production for years. They are fairly sought-after by geeks and nerds alike.

    Want pictures? Okay!
Here's the stock photos of the set:

A pic of both the clear and regular sets (contest version):

And here are some of my figures:
    Pic 1

    Pic 2

They are about 2 1/2 inches tall, and each one comes with a base, a mag and a little flyer thingy. Some of them have translucent weapons, others are painted. Most of them look really nice considering the size. As with most gashapon, some of the figures may bend a little or need adjusting. BE VERY CAREFUL PUTTING THEM TOGETHER. Seriously. I can't replace them if your man hands snap 'em in half.

There are 12 figures in the set. Each of the six winners will get two. The first place winner gets to pick the two they like, and so on. If you place last, you'll get whatever figures everyone else doesn't want. But still, free crap!

In order to participate, you need to own and have played one of the original Phantasy Star Online games (including Blue Burst and EP 1&2), either for DC, PC, Gamecube, or the first Xbox. I remember most of the people here that played... I know a lot of people are playing PSU, but these aren't PSU figures. :P

Anyway, this contest will be random, but you still have to do something art-related to get your name in the hat. ANY artistic contribution will be accepted, it just has to be related to PSO in some way.

I wouldn't ask you to do anything I wouldn't do, so here's my poorly drawn, un-funny MS paint contribution:

Once you've submitted something, I'll add your name to the list. When the deadlines passes, I'll write your names down on pieces of paper and have Dave grab them at random from a hat.

The deadline is two weeks from today. If you want more time let me know.

Yeah, you didn't have to play it online. I guess I should've been more specific.

What if you played PSO on the dreamcast, but your college's dorm room's phoneline was sucky and you could only stay logged in for five mintues, so in frustration you returned it and got Skies of Arcadia instead?

Sorry, Loki. If you barely spent any time on the game and then returned it, I'm afraid you aren't going to be eligible.

Hey, I HAVE played PSO! Never online, but I was obsessed with the GC one a long time ago. That any means my..."art"...will qualify!

                  Re: PSO POS contest

Between both the Xbox version and the DC version, I've probably logged over 1300-1500 hours. Too bad I'm not an artist. Those figures look pretty cool. *sigh*

Dude, you don't have to be an artist. I said I'll accept any submission, it just has to be something you yourself crapped onto a page (or MS paint, whatever) and it has to relate to PSO in some way. It could be something like this:
                    *dead link deleted*

There will not be any judging of the entries. You enter something and you're automatically in the drawing. You can take as much or as little time as you want to draw something. Stick figures are welcome.

Here, this should make the other pavvies feel better about theirs.

I was watching this at the time, and my mind thought "Booma" but I guess I wrote "goomba."
I'll change it soon, I promise.

I think I'm still on Nixon's ignore list, but whatever.
