I agree. Pollock is way overplayed. Dripping paint all over some huge ass canvas, sometimes with his ****ing feet. Whats so great about that.

I fully agree, I mean come on, he spends a minute just splattering paint on a canvas and boom, he can sell it....I mean wft? the paintings has no meaning, doesnt express any feelings, no character, no nothing.....just splatters of paint...woohoo

however if you yahoo "Jackson Pollock" it returns some thats more then just splatters of paint

With artists it's more of position than anything. Once you get to be famous then you can pretty much do any crap you want and have it sell.
