Scientist takes a hadoken to the face and lives to tell about it.

This is pretty funny, a scientist attempts to debunk the concept of "chi".

    Science damn you, chi master.

So what are some things science has, or you think will, ultimately debunk? On the other hand, what are some things that scientists typically scoff at, but you believe to be true?

I actually saw the program when it aired, and it became Scientology-caliber stupid when the guy comes up with this "his tongue was in the wrong position" and "his toes were aligned improperly" nonsense.

    Funny stuff, though.

The soul I believe in, and scientists scoff at that.

Yeah, I can just imagine one of his students attempting that in a real life situation and just getting ****ing stabbed.

        So do I!

Everyone knows I love the martial arts, but I don't believe in physical chi.

I beleive in the body flow of chi relating to your abilities and such, but
actually pulling off and invisible Kamehameha? I call bull**** on you, sir!

See the guy shouldnt have said you can nullify it with your toes out of alignment...now everyone knows the secret

I dont even think NG should have aired this, especially when they were able to debunk it with one try at the end and makes the guy look stupid with trying to explain it nonsense....

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

I still beive in chi...yep thats right...because I've used it...as a matter of fact if you want me to prove it I'll send a chi wave at the entire city of Saint Paul, and knock everyone there out.

            OK maybe I do.

Watching this 'karate' demonstration, it's exactly like those evangelical demonstrations where the loud talking guy in a suit hits people in the head and cures them of their ailments.

                ^

I was about to make the same connection.

I loved how it looked like the chemist was trying to hold back laughter during the whole deal. Also, look when they do that 'chi disruption' line or whatever. When it gets time to 'pass through' the kid in the middle, he looks back then makes the move when the guy behind him reacts. Total fantasy crap as far as I'm concerned.

Supposedly, this guy was the inspiration for Ken in SF.

Not even counting the fact that scientists have been able to disprove ESP in controlled studies, I want scientists to disprove ghost sightings so that we never have a topic as retarded as that again.

Oh, and I want them to prove that deja vu doesn't involve traveling to parallel dimensions.

I want scientists to disprove Brett Ratner's existence.
