(First off, the URL says "romhack" in it but this is NOT a rom or a hack. It's a freeware PC adventure game along the lines of Metroid or Castlevania:SotN. Secondly, you'll get the best experience with a PC Gamepad of some sort. That said...)
Go. Get it. Like, right now.
Don't forget the English patch!
It's a touching story of a boy waking up in a cave on a mysterious floating island. His quest to find out just what the hey is going on will lead him on a mystical (and slightly grim) journey.
It's graphics and sound are reminiscent of the NES/Master System days and it's a real good play. Plus it was all done (music, graphics, programming) by a single duder.
There are 3 endings and multiple decisions that will affect your progress. I still haven't managed ending 3 yet. As I said, it's kind of a grim story. It doesn't seem that way when you play it un-translated, but with the patch...well, just give it a try.
So, uh, yeah.
