    VOTE Nov. 7th!!!

I'm keeping this icon until the elections are over to remind people to vote. I don't care what your position is...if you're registered, go out and vote. You can even use it as an excuse for getting out of work for a bit.

On a personal note, I hope the Democrats take back the House and Senate...it would be interesting to see what they'd be able to do.

I'd vote, but there's not one single politician that I believe in. They're all scum, and I have nothing but disdain for our horrible two party system. -_-

Even if I did vote, it wouldn't make a bit of difference. We live in Tex-ass, man.

Please tell me you vote in the presidential elections, though.

Hell no. I would've voted last time, if DEAN was on the ticket. Too bad we were stuck with Bush and Bush Jr (AKA John Kerry). What a joke.

I always found this a bit strange. If you're a jaded voter, why would you vote in the Presidential election? That's where your vote counts the least. Vote in your city/county elections where you can actually exercise a bit of control over your own environment and where the size of the vote-pool is dramatically smaller. If you decide you like it, then move on to state and federal elections.
So you're a fish out of water...

No major party is running with a platform I can get on board with. And I mean, I don't believe in democracy anyway, so I don't feel the need to participate in it to start with.

Even if I do live in Texas, I rather spend 10 minutes exercising my vote than making some excuse as to why I don't participate in an election.

I doesn't matter who I vote for. Either way Michigan is screwed. I just have to decide how screwed I want it.

                          Anyone other than Granholm.

I can't vote yet anyways so whatever.

Then please leave our country, thanks.

I'm not voting because I don't know if I'm registered and it's too confusing, i.e. i'm too lazy, to find out.

However if Strayhorn somehow wins in the gubernatorial election I'm going to have to commit ritualistic suicide.

Who's campaign slogan is "One Tough Grandma". That's worse than that old chick in Wisconsin who's slogan is "I let the entire 1962 Packers team gangbang me."

I can't believe Kinky Friedman raised more money than everyone else besides Perry.

Poor Chris Bell. I can't believe he didn't even bother campaigning in the southern/western regions of Texas where most of the democratic vote lies.

Maybe if Grandma and Perry split the Republican vote and Bell pulls over enough moderates, he might win, doubt it though.
