Well, i'm Romidant, Romi for short. I play an Elvaan on FFXI, and was introduced to the IC in late 2004. I created a linkshell community site and forum for out-of-game communication. I was making something similar for PSU, and asked Gouki for help, and he pointed me here, so i thought i'd do a little shout-out to the people i know.

i remember the Gaia forums having that one year... their accounts allow for 4 gender changes, so one of the moderator/characters 'revealed' his true self, complete with clothing conversion... everyone went nuts with it, and confusion reigned supreme.
