    I wanna copy, how 'bout you?!

    Here's what I got:
    As a side quest, there are about 15-20 (haven't made my final decision yet) "Coin"s that you can collect. Each time you bring one to the Hermit, he gives you a treasure in tarde. (The first few are garbage that you could buy better versions of but the last couple are the game's best equipment)
    The way a player gets the rings is by searching those little pedastal decorations and I hid them everywhere (I put blank pedastals around too, cuz I'm a jerk) and I basically wanted the same message to appear every time you nab a ring: "You found a ring! Give it to that Hermit in trade for an Item!"

    The problem (I'm finding) is that since I made the rings "Treasure Items" I have to use an actual event to give the Ring to the player (Right?) so I've basically been using invisible events in front of pedastals to announce weather or not there was a ring on it and if there is/was then you get a ring and if not well then life's hard, deal with it. I don't want to make 15-20 invisible events: I want to copy the one that I already made.

    Can I copy Invisible Events, and if so, then How do I go about it?

    There is no event copying. You'll have to deal with it, or find some creative way around it.

      If there were event copying, an unfinished game of mine would already have been released.

        You know, if you want to, you can make pedestals actual events instead of having to use invisible events in front of decorations. That way you can actually see if a ring is on the pedestal when you approach it if that's what you want. Of course, if your whole idea was to require the player to "check" the pedestal first to find out, then I understand what you mean.

        Yes, not being able to copy events was a large oversight, but at least we can copy decorations.

          Yeah, it was basically a way to make use of a stand alone point that needed to be actually approached and "searched" but I guess I'm gonna have to go the long way around... (Urg...)
