why is capcom so cool?

just a question i'm asking myself, because they are. underneath the occasional bad desicion or slipped game or missed opportunity, there's something intangibly great about certain capcom games... and it's undeniably capcom. the taste and touch, style, whatever it is. i guess it would be the people behind the games really...
