    Jack Thompson picking fights with everybody!

    Hasn't even settled down yet after failing to stop Bully, now he's picking on Mortal Kombat Armageddon.

    Surprisingly, not for the violence.

    "It has today come to my attention that the newly recently [sic] Mortal Kombat: Armageddon contains an unauthorized commercial exploitation of my name, photograph, image, and likeness within the game," Thompson wrote in an e-mail addressed to Midway president and CEO David Zucker and carbon-copied to several news outlets. "You are commanded to cease and desist immediately from the distribution of this game because of this unauthorized, illegal content." (Emphasis in original.)

    While Armageddon does boast a roster of more than 60 characters, Thompson isn't among them. Judging from a photo of the game included with Thompson's e-mail, he is referring to a character made using the game's kreate-a-fighter mode.
    Just goes to show yet again he does no real research of the game he's trying to ban.

    How is this guy still around? Where does he get his income from? Hasn't he been barred from practicing law in a few states?

        That is ****ing hilarious.

        This guy needs to get a few gamers in his office and actually have an in-dept presentation of the reality of games rather than just being a whiney fush about everything because of foolish generalizations.

                  His build has the war hammer/gavel and his weapon fighting style is called Objection.

                  I just wonder whether he's this zealous about everything or if it's just an act.
                  The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                    Anytime a gamer writes him a serious letter or tries to get into a serious discourse with him and they aren't affiliated with the media he blows them off and says that videogames have so warped them that he won't even bother reading their letters because they're stupid.

                        I think it would be interesting for someone to do a documentary on Jack Thompson except it pointless since he'd just end up suing them for defamation.
