Ah, found my poems.

I'll gladly comment on your poems Alto :)

or anyone else

If you wouldn't mind giving me feedback that'd be nice too.

Firefly

Monsters divided
over the questions of man
Aliens abided
by the laws of the land

Starlight starfall
Firefly burning my soul
Starlight starfall
Raging for something more

Rumors spread
Like a breaking wave
Some left dead
Most left paved.

Look out for the beetle
He'll tip his hat and take a dime
Go home and dance in sublime

Starlight starfall
Firefly hiding in the dark
Starlight starfall
Firefly shies from the spark

Incantations were spoken by the dead
"Take this gun" he said
"And put them all to rest"

Revolution
New age shines
Revolution
The idealist pines
Revolution
Let's cross the lines

Starlight starfall
Firefly floats into the light
Starlight starfall
Firefly tears at the sight

A vagrant crawling

Here I stand
Here I fall
Here is where I eventually crawl

crawl back a vagrant at your paws

Here I scare
Here I bear
bear the things that seem to tear

tear my bodice into strands of faded gold

If your eyes glisten
I'll hold your hand again
If the shadows are the only that listen
I'll slide inside with you again

Here I stood
Here I fell
Embracing the heaven and embracing the hell
That my empathy included with the rest

Here again I fall
Here now I crawl
into a niche outside your arms

I mistook what you wanted
for what you gained
and I tried to shoulder all the blame

And I think it kind of nipped at you
that I guided you through
instead of walking with you

It all kind of synchronized
the dreams all lined
the actions untimed
I guess the blood was actually mine

Here I would stand
Here I would fall
I guess it took awhile for me to understand it all

Here again I fall
Here again I crawl
crawl back a vagrant at your paws

Here again I fall
Here again I crawl
hoping for your open arms

Luminescent faults of the empathetic mind

No sympathy
but empathy
Everyone's an enemy

In every tone
there lies an eye
A near-intimate glare
you slowly dry

At something one may smile
At something one may grin
At something another, mistaken or just broken, may burn in the fires of sin

No real reason
for us to weep
No reason to struggle
under the deep

Should I hug you
or hold my own?
Should you bleed
or should I moan?

No sympathy
but empathy
Hoping only for apathy

I'll be drowning again soon...

Melting

The tingle in my skin
The thorns held therein
My vision justly blends
With the virginities of men

You walk in like a double-bladed sheep
Only the fun ones are the creeps
Slowly in my body seeps
In a certain peace my mind sleeps

Melting at the thought of you
Dragged down into freedom
Melting into the embrace
Of your enchanting little kingdom

How are you?
How are you?
Tell me are you ok?

How are you?
How are you?
The only whisper I can let escape

I'm shy as location
I'm drawn in temptation
The blushed incantation
I speak in revelation

Vincent put a knife to his ear
But he also planted his heart on his sleeve
That's why I'm wearing inside out
The warmth that you gave

So I'll put my heart next to yours
Your life I long to save.
I'll be the one to cradle you
And bury the blade in the grave.

Political Scythe

Corrupt again
the world falls
here comes death
under a rainbow of shawls

Terror terror
here it comes
from every source
but the oil drums

bind under a chain
because they tell of pain
hereupon falls the shadow rain

Protect us again
by making us bland
insightless bastards under the name of "man"

Corrupt again
the earth cries
here comes death
camouflaged by lies

Immigration is such
a fixation
and everything's gone
by the shades of dawn

bind under a chain
because they tell of pain
hereupon falls the shadow rain

Protect us again
by making us bland
insightless bastards under the name of "man"

Corrupt again
the planet burns
here floats death
holding open urns

Is it interrogation
or just my imagination
Too many questions
with too few concerns

bind under a chain
because they tell us of pain
hereupon falls the shadow rain

Protect us again
by making us bland
insightless bastards under the name of "man"

Corrupt again
The world Dies
And over the death
Sits the Lord of the flies

And it appears he's choking on a pretzel.

I've always enjoyed the rythm of melting.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun writing that one :)

I don't think it's one of my better ones but I haven't written much poetry.
