    The Six Word Stories

Apparently in an homage to Hemingway who once wrote a story using simply six words, Wired asked a ton of Sci-Fi/Horror writers to do the same.

    Here are the results.

I like a lot of them.

Might wanna warn that there's some slight language, since this is the free forum.

But, all and all, I liked them.

Orson Scott Card's kicked ass. That was almost as good as Ender's Game!

        I liked this one:

We kissed. She melted. Mop please!
        - James Patrick Kelly
Also, I found one that's only 5 words. (DUN DUN DUN.) Actually, there's a few with only 5 words...
"Those who want peace must prepare for war."

His penis snapped off; he’s pregnant!
          - Rudy Rucker

Machine. Unexpectedly, I’d invented a time
            - Alan Moore

I thought it was pretty clever
Legs to walk and thoughts to fly
eyes to laugh and lips to cry
            a restless tongue to classify
all born to grow and grown to die

              I liked Whedon's.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

If Alan Moore could marry time paradoxes, he would.

                  I liked... mine.

The dead rose. The living fell.

                  Also liked Card's.
