Pretty interesting, guy says he found away around the iPod's copy-protection coding. Same guy who cracked the protection on DVDs. It's interesting for me because we're going over copyright and trademark law in class.

I still don't trust Apple. Two iPods in two years and both didn't last more than 5 months. Not from miscair, just from breaking without any notice.[cenComment

I've had my iPod for a little over a year now, only one problem which was from it getting thrown a two story window, didn't break the case, just internally messed it up. They had the iPod back to me within 2 days of shipping it out. My iPod plays any kind of music file I put on it. Hell, I use it as a jumpdrive.
