Terr wanted to see the final I turned in, and this was it. The color palette however is waaaay ****ed up, so the colors and some of the textures have to be redone.

Im on spring break this week and I have been playing with level design...this is about 40% done....I think. Textures are epic textures as are statics.

It sucks. I hate it.
Roughly translated: It looks like Nintendo 64 3D. So you're doing well. :)
EDIT: Ok, the second post looks way better than the 1st. I give thee props.

I like the post-apocalyptic looking one.
What sort of game is that for? Setting? Story? Genre(RPG, action, ect.)?
I'm curious.

I'm sorry but I like Valk's fan art better.
But your 3d stuff is impressive!
I think I'm almost ready to give up on figuring out exactly where Paul's likes/interests lie, let alone how his mind works.
Furthermore, nice PS stuff. Someone give me my steel-toed boots to kick that girl in the teeth.... against a wall.

Hah hah, Valks fan art rocks
Terr - Ever heard of or played Onslaught mode for UT2004? 2 bases are seperated by that city in the center of the mountains and you have to link up powernodes in a connect the dot fashion to get to the other teams powercore to destroy it. Meanwhile they are battling you to get to your core through the same nodes...
I dunno I just think fighting among a desolate city with tanks, raptors, hellbenders, and the leviathan sounds like a crap load of fun.

That city doesn't look big enough though. But fighting multiplayer in a desolate city does sound VERY fun.
Can't wait to get my game going. It'll be like GTA, only with Road Warrior style battles and stuff. You'll be able to cruise through desolate cities and wastelands in musclecars, motorcycles, and armored trucks shooting each other, and highways as well littered with turned over cars, breaks in the road, mines, holes, and debris.
So you did that desolate city map yourself? It looks awesome, but needs more city. Unless you're severely limited in space and stuff. The highway could use some touching up. Overturned cars, downed streetlights, blown-up or wrecked/rusted cars, ect.

about 40% done :wink
I had just finished sculpting the terrain last night and added rough CG brushes for the bigger buildings. It wont be a massive city because large onslaught maps can be very boring. Plus if there is to much clutter it can slow gameplay down.
After I add in the lighting/light posts and get teh trees and bushes in Im going to see how Im doing on resources and start adding junk for the city.
The map for my level is on the bottom.
Node 7 is the city node where you get the leviathan if you control it.
1 and 4 will give you tanks and scorpians to battle for 7.
Nodes, 2,3,5,6 are located in the mountains.
6 and 3 will connect but you must use the raptors to do so since you must fly overtop the city.

Im gonna lay in the bot pathing tonight and playtest it to see how balanced it is.
