Basically its a simulated life game, not sure how many people persue this on rpgm3 but ive thought about it quite a bit the past few days
I started it tonight, its working out pretty well, one question if anyone knows...is there a way to display variables to the player or do you have to go through the whole val-condition event thing?
what i have so far is the 6 main characters, the town, and the ability to change day-night, after you change to day it adds 1 "day" to a shared variable, after 15-30 "days" (havent decided yet) - it adds 1 "year" to your life(a different shared variable) and resets day, and depending on how old you are youre able to do different things around town and do more stuff in the world, havent worked out all the details yet...this is the first actual game ill complete and actually want to play myself so im anxious to get it done...
Other things im going to incorporate into the game
------------------------------------------------
Have 5 girls with each different relationship levels
Work to earn money
earn job promotions(get paid more)
find different jobs
go to school to get requirements for higher paying jobs
expand house from shanty to mansion in 4-5 cash upgrades
buy stuff to make your home town more appealling
theres also going to be real life drama unfolding as the story goes on, youre not going to know what to expect the next day....lol especially with 4 girlfriends at one time...
Im going for the azure dreams kinda thing but more life-like
im trying to make this seem like a never ending game, but with something to do every "day", right now ive thought about enough things to use about 42 variables for different things instead of the 32 in my previous post
im not going for world maps, just being able to jump from town to town to conserve memory
does this sound at any bit interesting to play? any suggestions? should i put a lot of storytellers in it so the player can bond with the character or just make it straight in-game talk? Im definately open to any suggestions or constructive criticism...lol
