    Help out my friend's band!

This may not be your kind of music, but I would really appreciate it if you could go to the following link and let the song play through at least once. I don't care if the volume is off, just as long as they get some plays. If they get enough, they'll get to play on this summer's Warped Tour, and they deserve it. If you like their music though, please spread the word (and the link).

The music had me interested until he opened his mouth.

Not to sound harsh but.. maybe he should rethink the whole screaming thing.

Or at least scream in such a way that I can tell what he's saying.

I know, the screaming is a bit much. I don't know the vocalist though, my friend is the lead guitar. I'm basically supporting him, but the whole band goes along with it. I must admit though, for how young the guy is, he's got one hell of a growl.

Pretty good besides the screaming that was already mentioned. Better than that Skeeto band anyway.

Wow that Falling Out band went out of their way to sound like alexisonfire.

Hollywood Ave is where its at.

Most bands don't do screaming right.

Gawd, that kid has one hell of a scream

Their breakdown was so fricken nice, the only thing I couldnt get used to was the high pitched guitar, Im a fan of the heavy metal that still uses grunge and not the hardcore guitar sound.

                Everyone sounds incredibly talented though.

Is there 1 or 2 guitars? For a bit it sounded like there was a second guitar playing at a fairly high distortion.

Im typically not a fan of warped tour, most of the crap on that tour is punk, like MxPx, sense fail, thrice, and dropkick murphys.

But I noticed bleeding through was on the list, that band and belay my last are pretty heavy for warped. Good deal....spread the heaviness.

Hook me up with more tracks....palease?

The guitar work is interesting, but...

Why do a good majority of bands today feel like they have to scream/growl to express themselves? Senseless noise is NOT a substitute for quality lyrics and proper singing. And for the record, only one man is allowed to scream.

Because, if Lamb of God where to sing their lyrics like the Backstreet Boys sing theirs, somone would get shot.

Lamb of God has the worst g'damn death metal growl I've heard in a long time.

Akerdfelt (of Opeth fame) is the only one I think can do it right.

I don't mind a growl if it's done right. But I perfer just a really deep voiced lead singer to some dude growling.

Kind of, not really, Im used to my roomate bashing them for randys growl "because its so bad." They are like a fav band of mine and he doesnt like the growling or screaming that randy does.

So, no Im not agreeing but Im shaking my head yes.
