    Wii stuff has hit target!

targets all across the country are putting out controller gloves, dog tags, carry cases, and apparently even Wii points cards.

controller gloves come in packs of three with various colors and details, like the triforce being stamped on them and stuff like that. they're marked as 24.99 though. OUCH.

no idea what the dog tags are for though. they're metal with the Wii logo on one part, and then a miniature metal controller for the other part. they are also marked at 24.99. ARG.

the prices may not be the actual prices though. target has a bad habit of mis-marking stuff when it hits early. back in may, I bought a 15 dollar transformer for 4.50 because of their pricing mistakes.

It doesn't suprise me they would try to sell merchendise like Dog Tags, that has dothing to do with the system.

And do you mean Target or target (like a sales target)?

Best Buy near me has cleared off quite a bit of shelf space for Wii and has the prices for the accessories up. Oddly, PS3 only has a shelf end for its logo. I wonder if that's really the only space they'll have for it.

Why clear space on a shelf for something that won't actually touch a shelf until next year?

K-mart here did kind of the same thing with the 360. they had a space for games and accessories, but no space cleared for the consoles until a few months had passed.

Yeah, I saw all of the Wii stuff when I was shopping for gloves. Cool, but pretty superfluous.

Yeah. I don't quite remember what the hell episode it is, though. I just remember that his face goes back to normal when he trips and falls into a blender.
