    Stupidity, thy name is Ceciroth!

I created an autostart sequence that has a storyteller event and then a character battle which the player loses (they cannot win)... the player is then revived and restored to proper health...

Guess what I did? I, in playtest, entered a loop that seemed it would go on forever... you see the storyteller, enter the battle, die, and it all happens over again.. the real kicker is that I hadn't saved it in about 2 hours of work (a mistake I'll never again make! ALWAYS SAVE BEFORE PLAY TESTING! I learned that in RPGM2 after a locked console during playtest almost made me my throw the thing out the window)

I forced a "Game Over" which did nothing (oddly)... I then decided to force a victory. This, I thought, would be useless, but it caused RPGM3 to think that it was stuck in an infinite auto loop and it brought me back to the editor.... and so I saved.

Don't allow this to happen to you!

    That's all for now! Bye!

I think you can force it to go to editor during an event if I am not mistaken.

yeah, I'm pretty sure that RPGM3 realizes when it's in a loop. Let it play through a few times and it will give you the option to exit out. It's just with your loop including a storyteller and a battle, it took a few times until you were given the option to exit. All that being said, there is nothing wrong with saving frequently. It's always a welcomed bathroom break/drink refill time for me.

Hey, I did something similar: I made an event where you see a storyteller, followed by a fight against a character that your guys canīt defeat and lose.
After that, I made a Storyteller to follow after the battle, displayed the bad guy off, recovered my characters HP and then warped them away. Finally, I ended te event.

I havenīt playtested that part in my game yet(īcause it`s too far in the story), but I think this may prevent you to fall in an endless event again.

Hope that wonīt never happen to you never again.

        See ya.

I was making a Phoenix Wright parody/spin-off thing (I did the evidence and questioning system very well, but the humor and story was horrible so I scrapped it, don't worry) but going through the same testimony 100 times is somthing I don't want to experience again...

            Very good advice.

I created this event where there was a multiple choice branch. One of the choices warped you to another place. The other choices told you something and then brought you back to the multiple choice branch. The computer mistakenly thought that it was caught in a loop, not taking into account the one choice that warps you out. So I had to scrap that idea.
