Arrrrg, I normally have faith in the justice system we have in place here, but something absolutely retarded has just happened to me. I got a speeding ticket a month and a half ago in a neighborhood I normally don't go in because I was taking a friend home. Well, I came around the corner doing 5 miles less than the two cars next to me, which I will admit was still 10 miles over the limit, and there, in a speed trap, was a cop waiting for me. There was an elderly woman in the cadilac going faster than me and a guy in a big truck with a Bush election sticker on the back infront of and beside me. The cop blares his lights and makes me pull over, the other two people happily go on. I don't blame them. I'm not so upset that I got a ticket due to profiling for being a teenage driver, no, that's okay, the world sucks sometimes and I've accepted that. His radar gun has me going 5 more than I was going, I assume this is because it was pointed at either of the other two vehicles. He gives me my ticket, I don't complain, and I go about my business. Well, I call the ticket information place everyday. No ticket in their databanks, not even when I talk with a real person. That is untill today, the day when the banks are closed, meaning I can't deposite more money into my account so that I may write a check. One ****ING day before my court date, which means that I have to scrounge up $184 in one day, in cash, because I don't have that much in my bank account. It's too late to pay as the office is closed today, but the ticket still went through today. So now I have to go to court tommorrow morning and miss school. Court that starts at 8:30 A.M. and ends at 2:00 P.M. When is my case in all of that? Who the hell knows. I'm showing up tommorrow and pleading not guilty. Which means I'll probably have my license taken away and still have to pay the $184.

I just pray the cop doesn't show up, then I MIGHT have a chance of not having to pay and keeping my license, that is if the judge is having a good day. So, any of you have any fun stories to share of our great justice system?
