They took it off the websites because the pre orders where overfilled (most likely). Not because they are not selling them anymore. Besides until Nintendo says somthing You can't rely on retailers.
Heck, GS said that Nightfall would require a Radeon 9600 to run for minimum requirements.
Kinda odd they wouldn't update their websites for such a popular product if it was cancelled right? /shrug
Oh, since we are taking stuff from joystiq
2) Some Gamestop and EB Games employees say the reason the game is no longer in their computer system or online is that pre-orders have been maxed out. Apparenly once the company stops taking pre-orders, they remove the game from their computer system entirely.
Sorry, I just get a little mad when people take rumors from places seriously.
Nintendo's official statement: Online reports about the Nintendo GameCube version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are incorrect. The amazing game will be available at retail outlets nationwide on Dec. 13.
Well they didn't make anything up exactly. They reported that Gamestop/EB pulled the game from their sites which is true. Then they jumped to the conclusion that that meant it wasn't going to be available in retail since Big N did that in Japan.
Never heard about that. Sorta takes away the novelty of having a first-party game be multi-platform like that if one version isn't available. Glad to hear that's not the case for US.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
