    Me? Freelance Work?

It's strange how life gives opportunities all at once sometimes.

After art history today, my teacher mentioned to the class about how the local public library is looking for some art students to help redesign their teenager section with a wall mural. I asked for that info, to the teacher's excitement, and she gave me a number and told me to bargain with her for how much money I should get for it. It looks like I'll be checking that out come Monday.

And then in Graphic Design just now, my teacher pulled me aside and said one of his business friends is looking for a guy to compose backlit presentations in Photoshop for a local Toyota dealer. His friend says he pays $25/hr (however that works). I'll be going there Monday too, with any luck.

It's a big chance for me. Wish me luck.
    ...and that's why.

Congradulations! I wish I got payed 25 an hour for anything. Good luck on getting the job!

I can be a reference if you need one.

"Yes, we're calling about a reference Johnny Trambone."
"I don't know who that is."
"He listed you as a reference for a graphic design job."
"OH! You mean Denethor! Yeah you know. Denethor? From Lord of the Rings? Johnny likes to be called that for some reason. I never asked why."
      "I... see..."

We should do that for everything. A pavillionite goes and turns in a resume, and there are references from 17 different area codes, including a few international
