    Everything's coming up Xbox

    Thanks to Blue Dragon Microsoft will finally be moving some merchandise in Japanaland. The Blue Dragon core system bundle pre-orders that opened today are sold out in most stores. Some sold out in minutes. That's par for the course here but up until now 360's been lucky to manage a couple thousand sales a week. This is several thousand preorders in one day.

    Also, 100 GB 360 hard drive on the way by March.

        I hope we get a Blue Dragon bundle eventually. If we do, I am definately gonna get it.

        ...Assuming that Blue Dragon is any good, of course.

              I dunno what it is, the X-Box 360 just doesn't intrest me. The games look pretty that's for sure. But the games don't seem to make me want to shell out $400 for a console, My roomate has one, and they seem kinda bland IMO.

              Plus I am broke and can't even afford a Wii.

                Xbox 360 hasn't had much to offer people that are fans of Japanese developers, until recently between this and Dead Rising (which is pretty Western in design). That might be why they seem more bland, I find American games to usually be lacking in art design.

                That said, how much do we even know about Blue Dragon? And just how extensive was Sakaguchi's involvement with all those games he has credits on?

                  I don't think two or three of these Japanese RPGs coming to 360 are enough to turn things around for them there. Blue Dragon does look awesome though. The graphics are what interest me. Toriyama's designs have never looked so good in-game.

                    I dunno what it is, the X-Box 360 just doesn't intrest me. The games look pretty that's for sure. But the games don't seem to make me want to shell out $400 for a console, My roomate has one, and they seem kinda bland IMO.

                    Shoot, the DS is probably the best system to own right now. It's cheapest and already has a great library of games with online play.

                      I havn't bought any new games since Brain Age for the DS.

                      God, and there's Nightfall coming out too.

                        True, I love my DS. I do want a 360 though. I'm only holding out because I keep thinking a price drop is right around the corner.

                          Not likely. The 360 already has a lead as far as systems sold, so they're not worried too much about Nintendo Wii, and at the same time they're already cheaper than the PS3. At the earliest, I'd expect a 360 price drop during or after E3.

                          Although there is the low price for that Blue Dragon bundle in Japan.

                            I'm still hoping they follow the last-gen trend of doing the first price drop mid May for the new fiscal year. Also, it might be good to come around the EU launch of PS3 since the availability should be up by then.
