So yeah, for some reason I can't view worldsbestgamer's profile. Is it a privacy setting or something?
[EDIT: He doesn' show up in the members list either.]

I had problems with that on another new member recently, too, but I can't remember which one.

Memberships have to be approved before going through now. you cant view the profile of someone who hasnt been approved yet.

oddly enough, no one who has registered since we started the approval system has bothered to come back after registering.

Umm, my friend tried to register under the name Deriaz. but it said he couldn't. Do you have any idea what that was about?

any accounts that appear to be using a fake e-mail address are not approved. maybe that was it.

On my forum I find that even an email verification will make people lose interest and not come back, so waiting approval just makes them lose interest more, with my forum I only have a visual confirmation and then they can post, which works better then them having to take multiple steps....but you have a higher chance of spam bots registering(which luckily hasnt happened to me yet), but Im sure with you having such a large forum youre on everyones list of "lets spam this guy first"

It all comes down to them being lazy or being interested one minute then being blah the next
