Allright, so if I have a tv that is HDTV ready but doesn't have the tuner does that matter? Like the game console's output would be the HD so I don't need the tuner...?

Re: Next-Gen console/HDTV question:
My big one's got 2 HDMIs Mora, so that makes it SUPER High Def!

Another important thing you need to make sure of is that it can output 1080p, although the 360 games are limited to 1080i at the moment. The system itself is getting an upgrade (over XBL) so that it can do 1080p soon, though it will be up to developers whether they make their games in that format.
You also need either a Component or HDMI cable. 360 comes with a Component (the non gimped pack, at least) so you shouldnt have to worry about it. HDMI cables are quite expensive though.
As for the visual difference between the two, im not entirely sure. HDMI allows for some wacky codec stuff (Wiki here) to happen between the source and your TV, but if the source can already do that it isnt important...? Its all kinda confusing.

I have this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134703132256
I really like it. It's the one they use in all the XBox360 displays.
And that price listed is like 100 more than I got it for for some reason.
Edit - Oh wait, I didn't get that one. That one is "high design" or something. Stupid "high design".Last edited by Alzar; 10-14-2006, 01:29 PM.XBox Live: Alzar2k
