Draining Attack

I was trying to make an attack, magic if possible, that when you attack you deplete your enemy's HP and gain some or all of it back. I know you can do it as a normal physical attack, but I want it to be using the character's MP if possible. Thank you for the help in advance.

Hrmm...try character/spells(or skills, whatever they call it). Make a spell that uses X MP, and deals no damage. Look for drain under the "additional effects." If it's not there, you're screwed.

When you go to skills, go to page 3 under "Special Attacks" and theres Drain HP and Drain MP attacks, dont know if this is what ur lookin for but this is as close as i think youre going to get

Yeah, that was the closest thing I could find. Although you get as much HP back as damage you did, so I'm going to test it out and see how that is.

MAybe I'm looking at this thread the right way, but couldn't you make a magic spell that "heals" a little MP for little or no MP cost? You could call it "Meditate" or "Concentrate" or even "Absorb" or "Armageddon" (cuz in reality, its not like anybody can argue with the fact that your slight MP heal spell has nothing at all to do with anything associated with the End of Existance)

He wants a magic attack that lets say you hit an enemy for 38 points it will take 38 from him and give it to you

like a Vampire Attack, but costs MP to use

Sorry, I don't think there's a way to do that other then the ideas that are already up. I figured I'd chime in as an alternative cuz I didn't know if the situation was "Plot-driven" or not... (Vampire Gorilla goes on a march to get revenge for the capture of his girlfriend the big lady that uses and axe...)
