    Just trying to be prepared...

As many people know, I might be homeless in about five weeks. This would get in the way of me being the webmaster of the pavilion. So just in case, I need to post something.

If I am unable to continue on here, I need to make sure the pavilion is in good hands. This means passing it on to someone else. Someone who would keep the pavilion going, keep it expanding, and make sure it stays strong and true to it's origins, and forever keep it the RPG Maker Pavilion (no renames or mergers, please. those don't work Neo Pavilion anyone? gah.). Someone who has the same passion for RPG Maker that I do, and will do everything they can not just for the pavilion, but the RPG Maker community as a whole.

I need to know who would be willing to accept that responsibility. I said before that it would be up to the staff to figure things out, but thats just not possible because of everything involved in handing the site over. Full administrative access to the server and the account with vbulletin, and a special contact list of people within agetec and enterbrain would need to be transferred to the new webmaster.

I'm posting this far in advance to give people time to think about it. Shortly before my deadline is up I'll post another topic asking for interested people to reply. If you think you could do it, not only that you want to, but that you actually can and would do it, reply to that topic. I'll decide from there who to hand it over to. Why am I making the decision, and not Kire? because while Kire created the pavilion, everything here belongs to me, and I need to feel secure with who gets it next. this is my server. this is my account with vbulletin. you would get my personal contact list with agetec and enterbrain. you would get my stuff. Stuff I have paid thousands of dollars for in total. It's only right that I decide who gets it.

I'd rather not see you leave, and hopefully you won't. If that's not the case, then:

    Good luck, Valk. Truly.

To be honest, I do not feel I have the time to take on the full responsibility of the site, with school and my life the way it is right now.
However - in the event of this site being passed on, if more administrators/site updaters/people who do high level work on the site but aren't the main focal point of the site are needed, I'd gladly take on that responsibility.

Even if it was possible for me to handle things like that, I wouldn't.

I'd rather host a "Keep Valk as site master!" fundraiser.

Valk, you should do what Screech does,

Do a "Save My House" Campaigne.

Wait, if you get a job, you get a house, right? Are there any jobs that would work and that you feel qualified for, that turned you down? Cause I was thinking, what if one of us called and said "Paul Hutchingson (sp?) was turned down, we think he deserves the job, etc. etc..." and then they hang up, and another person calls and says the same thing (we'd work out an exact message.) We just keep spamming the phone lines until they're convinced they turned down god, or something.
I dunno, it'll probably just make them angry, but if you're not getting the job anyway, it'll at least be fun, eh?

I would be able to offer my service if it comes to that. I have a bit of website experience, but I will say it has been a while.

But I am very dedicated to RPGmaker, and its community. I would be willing to offer my help in any way I could.

Valk, let me know if there is absolutely ANYTHING the mag, or MYSELF especially can do for you. I'll do whatever is within my power.

Valk, you are local to me.
If you just needed a small amount of time to be "out" for a while. I could help update, or even let you use my net access to update and check on things, from time to time until you get on your feet. etc.

I am not a hardcore member of this site, but I do appreciate it's existance as do I your motivation to keep it going. I would certainly help you out by those means if you need it.

It is a scary thing to hand off your passion.
