I tried a few times, but the learning curve is way too high. I might pickup the expansion if I ever see it cheap. I hear it actually has a proper introduction.

Yeah, the tutorial is pretty crappy..I just played AoW I so I'm used to it.

I havent played Age of Wonders 2 in a while, it is easy for me to pick up because i played the predecessor of AoW, which was called Master of Magic, which was an old dos based pc game, that i thoroughly enjoyed, but cannot get to run at all anymore.

Master of Magic isn't related to Lords of Magic is it?

I just found LoM yesterday, and I had never heard of it. Really scared me, especially considering I found it in my room without having ever previously played it.

It's quite nice though
