FreQuency / Amplitude (Questions about Amplitude)

I've been playing FreQuency obsessively, curious to see if anyone else has mastered the Expert mode yet. (I'm only at Stage 3, it's getting tough.)

High Scores Normal:
Scientific Genius Girl - Stage 1/5 - 1657
(Can anyone beat this? I had a streak of 50 and 98% accuracy...)
Worst Mistake - 3/5 - ~1240

How "well" am I'm doing?


Also, is Amplitude worth it? I like the idea of getting out of all Techno music, so I'd like opinions before I plunk my already low cash fund into buying a used copy.

Amplitude is definatly worth it if not just for the fact that it's not a blue bottom disk.
