Okay, this is annoying.

NBC. I don't know what's going on, but for a while now it seems like that channel has been having lots of problems. Stuff like the screen glitching up or the channel going completely blank. Tonight for example, it failed to air any commercials several times, substituting them for either a black screen or NBC's screen saver. And unfortunately, the black-out sometimes happens during the actual shows.

I'm wondering how widespread it is, though. It's not the TV we're using because it happens on every TV in the house. It's not our cable company, because they wouldn't show that NBC screensaver if it was. So I figure it's either restricted to the St. Louis station or it's on a more national scale. It's been happening almost the whole year, if not longer, and this last week has been the worst so far it seems. Anybody else seeing these problems with NBC?

(And sorry about posting two topics in one day. I know they'll both die real fast, but I'm hoping somebody will at least let me know if they have problems, too.)

I'm pretty sure it's a problem that happens at your local broadcast station not on a widespread level. Like in my area FOX and UPN are run from the same broadcast station and they usually have issues at the same time. If one freezes or blacks out chances are the other one does too. And sometimes they'll go to commercial and when the show comes back they screw up and restart the previous act instead of the next one. Which usually results in a good portion of the show not airing. I'm guessing it's a combination of bad equipment and stupid trainees because they're always asking for job applicants.
